Director of Coaching - Jaime Williams

Yellow Jackets North Head Coach Jaime Williams recently completed his first year at Danbury High School. At Danbury, Coach Williams, led the team to a 15-5 record including Danbury’s first defeat of Wilton High School in years. Coach Williams was named FCIAC Coach of the Year for Women’s Lacrosse as well as the FCIAC’s Spring Season Coach of the Year 

Coach Williams sent nine DHS senior players to the NCAA ranks this season

 

Prior to this season, Coach Williams served as an assistant coach of the at Western Connecticut State Women's team, leading them to a 12-8 record and the school’s First Ever Appearance in the Conference Championship Game beating the #1 Seed along the way. This followed a 9-9 season in 2011. Prior to his time in the NCAA ranks Coach Williams led Brookfield High School to 30-11 record and made two appearances SouthWest (CT) Conference and State Tournaments.

 

Coach Williams, a Bedford Hills (NY) native, played his high school lacrosse at Fox Lane High School, was also an assistant at WestConn from 2002 to 2007 and 2010-2012.  In 2003, he organized and ran the WestConn Men’s Lacrosse Club and a year later became an Assistant Coach as the team became an NCAA program. His collegiate playing career began as a defenseman at Westchester Community College.  

 

Coach Williams currently works as a teacher and Crisis Team Member at Westchester Exceptional Children’s School, in North Salem, New York.

Pace University Director of Athletics Mark Brown has announced the hiring of Michael Spinner ‘99 as the department’s first-ever Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. Spinner was a goalie for the Pace Men’s Lacrosse program from 1996-99 and brings more than a decade of experience coaching women’s lacrosse to Pace University’s new program. Spinner will now be charged with fielding the first-ever women’s lacrosse team
